Coastal College Advising is located in Brunswick, Maine. Kristen Pett, M.A., Ed has over 20 years of experience advising students as a high school college counselor and a former dean of admission at a liberal arts college.
Typically our work together begins in the student’s junior year. However, the individual needs of each student and family vary and work can be tailored for most situations.

Personalized assistance with the college application
Expert advice on how to write a great college essay - support with brainstorming essay topics, understanding structure, and essay review
Help students take stock of their activities both in and out of the classroom
Preparing for a successful visit and interview
Helping families understand and manage admission decisions
Appointments are available after school, some evenings, weekends and generally last one hour.
